SK hynix海力士，前身为1983年成立的现代电子产业株式会社，1996年正式在韩国上市，1999年收购LG半导体，2001年从现代集团分离出来，更名为SK hynix(株)海力士半导体。

2004年10月将系统IC业务出售给花旗集团，成为专业的存储器制造商。

目前在韩国有1条8英寸晶圆生产线和2条12英寸生产线，在中国无锡有一条12英寸生产线。

SK hynix has four production facilities in Wuxi and Chongqing, China as well as domestic business sites in Icheon and Cheongju. Our Businesses

DRAM

Through our tireless focus on R&D and quality control, SK hynix manufactures highest quality and highest performance DRAM products.
Our principal products include dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) for PCs, laptops and servers, low-power mobile DRAMs, high-speed graphic DRAMs for graphic data processing and consumer DRAMs for the full spectrum of digital devices. Our products support wide array of interfaces, including DDR, DDR2, DDR3 and DDR4 interfaces, to meet our customer needs.
While we at SK hynix strives to meet all of our customers’ needs through innovative R&D and leading edge technology, we are particularly focused on high-capacity, high-performance, low-power premium products to drive our future growth.

NAND Flash

While NAND flash was initially used for simple data storage in MP3 players, PMPs, digital cameras and navigational devices, its applications have since expanded to include smartphones, tablet PCs and solid state drives (SSD). As the technology and market share leader, SK hynix is staying ahead of rapid NAND flash industry developments through introduction of higher-speed, higher-capacity products.
SK hynix’s single-level cell (SLC), multi-level cell (MLC) and leading-edge triple-level cell (TLC) products come in wide range of capacities from 128Mb to 512Gb. In addition to our stand along NAND flash products, we provide the best NAND solutions to meet a variety of customer needs through our multi chip package (MCP), embedded flash and SSD solutions.

CIS

SK hynix reentered the CMOS image sensor (CIS) business at the end of 2007. CMOS image sensors serve as electronic film and electronic eyes for a variety of IT and consumer devices. While it is a non-memory semiconductor, similarity of production process to that of semiconductor memories gave SK hynix competency to successfully enter the CIS business.
Applications for CIS are expected to dramatically rise in the future. With SK hynix’s CIS products scheduled to be adopted by a wide range of applications--including web cameras, miniaturized medical imaging equipment, and mobile phones—we plan to lead a new chapter in CIS market through high-resolution sensors manufactured on most advanced process technology to meet diverse needs of our customers
